They have a 38 ¼ inch 9260 spring steel blade. The Federschwert flexes in the last third of the blade with the remainder of the sword remaining stiff. They have a slightly flared tip. The ramped thumb guard permits easy placement of a gloved thumb onto and off of the blade. The pommel is indexed to the flat of the blade. The 11 inch wooden core handle features a cord grip.
