The blade is hardened to 50HRC. The high carbon steel limits edge notching to a satisfactory level, provides flexibility and defends against brittleness. The 6 ½ inch wire-wrapped grip has a basket liner made of leather covered in fabric. The scabbard has a matte black finish to allow for customization.
