Kingston Arms Federschwert Fencing Longswords feature a redesigned blade made specifically for HEMA use and practice. These longswords are 51 inches in all with a 38 inch 5160 steel blade. The design is based upon a period original fencing sword that is now located in Switzerland. This Kingston Arms Federschwert has been updated in conjunction with several HEMA groups across the country to this new version of the real original. It features a much more robust blade from tang to tip as well as a tougher cord wrapped grip. The blade is designed for practice with a rolled tip and safe rounded edges. These swords have a two handed 12 ½ inch handle with a 8mm thickness at guard, 2.5mm thickness at tip and a point of balance at 3 ½ inches.
