Kingston Arms Reenactment Swords for sale are 37 inches in all. These Arming Swords are from Tourney Series of sparring and stage combat swords that feature blunt blades with rounded edges and thru-tang construction. The 30 inch blade is forged from 9260-Spring steel that has been tempered to approximately 50 HRC. The 2 mm rounded blade edges make them ideal for reenactment and stage combat. These Arming Swords have a peened stainless steel guard. The pommel is pressed into place and hot peened. The real leather grip is wrapped with cord for a comfortable grip. The handle is 4 ½ inches long. The oval cross section and slight barrel shape are designed to lessen fatigue. The blade fuller serves to lighten and counter balance the swords. The wooden scabbard is covered in real leather and features a steel tip and chape. The guard is constructed via a special King-Peen system; a steel tab under the grip is pinned through the tang of the sword to keep the guard from loosening.
