These Norman Swords are inspired by real medieval swords popular in the 10th and 11th centuries with this modern version featuring a functional and sharp double-edge blade. The 30 inch 1055 high carbon steel blade is ¼ inch thick. The blade features the famous MAA (Man At Arms) blued finish and a wide fuller. The 6 ¾ inch handle is capped with a modified cocked hat shape pommel that serves to make room for the hand while counter balancing the blade. Both the handle and scabbard are crafted of wood and covered in real black leather. The scabbard features matching blued steel fittings. These swords weigh 48.2 ounces.
