Man at Arms Italian Long Swords are 47 inches in all. These Italian Long Swords are inspired by real medieval swords that were popular from the 14th through 17th centuries and have been reproduced by Cold Steel in this modern version that features a functional and sharp blade. The double edged 35 ½ inch 1055 high carbon steel blade is ¼ inch thick and features the famous MAA (Man At Arms) blued finish. The 11 ½ inch handle features a unique cruciform hilt that has an extended upturned cross guard and a counter balancing fish tail pommel. Both the handle and scabbard are crafted of wood and covered in real black leather. The scabbard features matching blued steel fittings. These swords weigh 49 ounces.
