This famous sword was used during the coronation of Roman Emperors from Otto IV in 1198 to Emperor Karl I in 1916. This contemporary full tang version is hand forged of tough high carbon steel. The functional 33 inch blade is 1 ¾ inch wide and 3/16th inch thick. They have hand antiqued genuine solid brass fittings and engravings on the guard.
