This modern version features a functional 36 inch sharpened 5160 high carbon steel blade. The hand tempered and hand forged blade is full tang and features a fuller. It is firmly peened at the pommel. The 6 3/8th inch black leather wrapped wooden handle is flanked by a solid steel cross guard and pommel. A black cross, the coat of arms of the Order of the Teutonic Knights is engraved in the pommel. The black leather covered wooden scabbard has polished steel accents.
