These well balanced swords feature an authentic fuller on the sharpened 33 1/4th inch blade. They feature a traditional thru-tang peened construction and a functional 5160 high carbon steel blade. A blackened symbol of the Knights Hospitaller emblem is featured on the solid steel wheel pommel. The cruciform hilt is also blackened. They have a 4 5/8th inch wooden handle that is covered in real leather. The point of balance is at 6 ½ inches. These swords are made to honor the medieval Order of the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem, who were called the Knights Hospitaller. In the Middle Ages, the Hospitaller were one of the most famous military orders of the Roman Catholic Church. These swords are made in The Philippines and weigh 3 pounds 2 ounces.
