Medieval Single Hand Knight Swords are an Oakeshott Type XVIII with a contemporary Angus Trim (Atrim) design. These performance swords are produced by Kingston Arms. They are 33 ¼ inches in all and have a functional and sharp 27 inch blade. The flat ground blade is hand forged in mono-tempered 9260 spring steel with a handsome satin finish. They feature the classic diamond cross section of the Oakeshott's Type XVIII, typical of historical short swords used by knights during the 15th Century. The Type XVIII features a stiff blade with a slow tapering curve to the point. These swords feature high quality stainless steel fittings with a solid wood core, cord-wrapped grip. The 4 ¼ inch handle features a textured leather over-wrap on the grip. The solid wood core scabbard is finished with a stainless steel chape and stitched leather wrap.
