These Praying Mantis Swords have a Shobu Zukuri style blade that is made with L6 tool steel and Bainite and features a bo-hi. The functional 29 inch sharpened blade is shaped and forged in the traditional Japanese manner then painstakingly heat-treated to achieve the Bainite and Martensite structures before the final polish. They have an HRC edge of 62-64 and an HRC back 33-38. They have an 11 inch handle, a subdued green silk ito and a deep brown lacquered scabbard.
