M48 Ranger Hawk Axe is from the Komando Series of blades and tools. This collection features lightweight construction and functional blades making them a popular choice for hard use. The M48 Ranger Hawk Axe measures 15 inches in all. The 7 ¾ inch, precision cast 2Cr13 stainless steel axe head is securely attached to the handle with three individual bolts and a black colored nylon cord wrap. The cord is manufactured of Paracord which can be unrolled from the handle for emergency use. The M48 Ranger Axe features a sturdy nylon reinforced 30% fiberglass handle. They have a 3 ¾ inch cutting blade and a sharpened head spike which could be used as a pick or breaching tool. The M48 Ranger Hawk Axe also includes a nylon scabbard with snap buttons for quick access. They include a directional compass that can be housed in the scabbard as well. Gear bag not included.
